Rightfully described as the “Garden of Québec”, Montérégie is a pioneering region with regards to the production of cider and apples. Come indulge in tasty discoveries! Montérégie distinguishes itself, among other features, by its Cider Route which allows visitors to discover excellent ciders. Make your way to Rougemont to visit the boutique and the apple interpretation centre at La Pommeraie d’Or and taste the products of the Cidrerie Michel Jodoin. Wine lovers can visit several of the vineyards that make up the Montérégie Wine Route, including Domaine de Lavoie, where they can enjoy a tasting of high-quality products. Epicureans are sure to be delighted with a visit to 1555, Marché public and the region’s fine dining establishments, including the renowned Restaurant Fourquet Fourchette!

An outing in Montérégie, even in winter, is an opportunity to visit the diverse variety of museums that exhibit the rich cultural heritage of the region, among wich is the Maison nationale des Patriotes.
